Hi Friend

Now, if your immediate reaction was “Errr, Megan, the words ‘photography’ and ‘ fun’ don’t go together”, then don’t worry – you’re not the only one!

It’s my job to get you photos that you love, and that show you off at your most, well, you. To do this, it’s super important to me to give everyone an enjoyable experience in front of the camera, no matter how awkward they might have felt beforehand.

A huge part of this is getting to know you, so it’s only fair that you get to know me too, right?

I’m a Leicester wedding photographer and I share my home with my very fluffy Pomeranian, Kenzo (or rather he allows me to share his home).

I was born in South Africa and have lived in Mauritius, London, San Francisco and North Dakota too. My Dad is a pilot, so I was very lucky to do a lot of travelling when I was younger; that instilled a love of adventure and new experiences in me that has never gone away.

I'd describe myself as an empath so I tend to feel ALL the feels…basically, it’s pretty standard for me to tear up on your wedding day and again when I’m editing!

Throw in a degree in psychology, and a lifetime’s worth of being an extroverted introvert, and you’ve got someone who loves chatting to people, and, simply, making them happy. And one of my favourite ways to do this is via photography: for couples who want to capture their love, small business owners who want to capture their passion, and women who want to capture their power.

Wherever in the world you find me, there’s one thing for certain: I’ll be the person befriending the cat or dog at parties. I’m a big chocolate and ice cream fiend, have an eclectic music taste, and love painting and drawing (though I wish I did more of it!)

There’s also a good chance I’ll be listening to an audiobook when editing your gallery; and there’s also a chance it’ll be Harry Potter, as I relisten to it every now and again to connect to that sense of wonder that I so vividly remember from when I read it the first time around.

Check out how we can make magic!
